GENDER BASED VIOLENCE

On May 7, 2025, the Director of Lugarawa Youth Foundation delivered a lecture at Peramiho School of Nursing, focusing on gender-based violence.

This is a critical issue not only in Tanzania but across the globe. The session aimed to raise awareness among nursing students about the causes, effects, and prevention strategies for gender-based violence, emphasizing their future role as frontline healthcare providers and advocates for victims. Addressing gender-based violence is essential in building safer, more equitable communities worldwide.
